Standing Complaints Committee (SCC)

The Standing Complaints Committee (SCC) is a sub-committee of the HAP Board and is elected by the Board for the purpose of investigating complaints against members agencies.

The SCC is composed of three members and two alternates  and must include: one person who is not an employee, volunteer or trustee of a member agency, two persons from member agencies, and two alternates from different member agencies. Board members are eligible to be elected to the SCC and members are elected for a two year period (renewable).

At October 2009, the composition of the SCC was as follows:

  • Agyedho Othwonth Bwogo (Independent)
  • Thorkild Hoyer (Full-member representative for DanChurchAid)
  • Laura Cometta (Full-member representative for Concern Worldwide)

with the alernates being:

  • Shaista Bukhari (Associate member representative for Women's Rights Association, Mulltan Pakistan)
  • Yasser Dawhoud (Full-member representative for Naba'a)
