Certification and Accreditation Board (CARB)
The Certification and Accreditation Board (the CARB) is a sub-committee of the HAP Board and elected by the General Assembly for the purpose of overseeing HAP's regulatory functions.
The CARB consists of four independent members, three full-member representatives (at least one must be from a certified organisation), a structure designed to ensure that HAP's regulatory services are administered fairly, consistently and robustly.
The CARB is responsible for awarding HAP certificates in Accountability and Quality Management to agencies that have successfully completed a HAP Standard certification audit. The CARB is also responsible for accrediting qualified bodies to conduct HAP certification services.
